These Terms govern your use of SourcedStory. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
Your account
Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and you’re responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are for a single person; don’t create multiple accounts to evade limits, bans, or payment.
Acceptable use
- No illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, or misleading content.
- No abuse of the service — automated scraping, bypassing limits, or disrupting other users.
- Don’t misrepresent sources or fabricate citations; sourcing integrity is the point here.
- Respect others’ intellectual property and only post content you have the right to use.
Your content
You keep ownership of the timelines, events, and sources you create. By publishing content publicly, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating the service. You are responsible for your content’s accuracy and for having the rights to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
Free & paid plans
SourcedStory offers a free tier and a paid Pro plan. Plan limits and pricing are shown in the product and may change with notice. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processor; you can cancel per the billing terms in effect when payments launch.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security or legal risk.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” While sourcing is central to SourcedStory, we don’t guarantee the accuracy or completeness of user-created content, and it shouldn’t be relied on as professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SourcedStory is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these Terms; we’ll revise the “last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
